Keep the original
within reach.
A research note could link each selected figure to the document and date it came from. A reporting pack could identify its supplied data and the period covered.
That gives a reviewer a route back to the material behind a statement. It does not make the source correct; it makes the basis of the work easier to inspect.
Show what went
into the result.
A future reporting tool could separate provided values from calculated fields and explanatory notes. If a team changes an assumption, the interface could keep that choice visible alongside the result.
An AI-generated summary would be a draft to review, with the relevant source material close by. A confident sentence should not be confused with a verified fact.
Make the next question
easy to find.
A team workspace could show who prepared a note, what has been checked and which questions remain open. A dated review history could help the next person understand what changed.
The first product need not handle every part of investing. One well-defined research or reporting workflow would give PiVest a useful beginning and a clear audience.
